Responsible for supporting the department to ensure that deliveries are properly received and distributed to

designated departments. Supports the preparation of outbound freight and supplies.

>   Unloads incoming trucks containing materials, equipment and supplies for the

>  Responsible for the proper labeling and documenting of incoming and outgoing packages.

>   Ensures timeliness of product delivery and the quality of the product delivered to

 

appropriate destinations.

 

>   Responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in work areas.

 

>   Supports the department by implementing corrective action plans as needed to

address delivery issues.

 

>   Handles equipment, tools and materials in a safe and cost-conscious manner.

 

>   Develops internal cross-functional relationships to enhance the logistics process.

 

>   Responds to and communicates changes in delivery schedules to appropriate

 

personnel and identifies solutions to prevent negative impacts on production performance.

 

>   Maintains on going communications and participates in departmental meetings.

 

>   Performs other duties as assigned.

 

>   Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department, and

 

supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through

 

training, engagement and communication.
