Duties (Brief description of the principal task involved)
Maintenance and repair of all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical or electronic systems of Conventional and Automatic Casting Machines, Robots and CNC other Automated Machinery within production environment.

- Corrects deficiencies of Automatic Casting Machines, supporting robots and other
Die Casting Machinery, and CNC Machines appropriately ("according to the accepted
rules of engineering") and independently, taking due account of all Safety
Regulations. Troubleshoots mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on production equipment.
- Develops and carries out preventative maintenance and any resulting repairs
independently on plant equipment and machinery.
- Carries out electrical installations such as machine connections, lighting fixtures
and socket installations.
- Independently carries out modifications and extensions on plant and machinery
and draws up switching plans for documentation purposes.
- Inspects the installations according to the applicable equipment inspection
Regulations and the accident prevention regulations at the specified inspection
intervals.
- Procures spare parts from the Tool Crib or the warehouse and takes
account of the requirements of inventory control and materials management.
- Responsible for identifying Environmental Aspects for his/her department, and supporting Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and communication.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must comply with all safety regulations and proper operating procedures, utilizing required safety equipment at all times.
Employees are obligated to leave workplace in a clean and orderly manner. Must collaborate in the bridging of break times, and briefly inform the succeeding operator of activities that took place during his or her shift.

Education/Professional Requirements:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent.
-Technical Training (2 years) or BS Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
-Diverse specialist training courses in Machining Technology
Required proficiencies and additional qualification:
Knowledge of multiple control systems (e.g. PLC controls, Siemens)
Ability to gain knowledge of programming, troubleshooting and maintenance of Kuka and applicable Robots, Die Casting Machines.
